Planned Preventative Maintenance Contracts

Server room and data centre environments are inherently designed for high reliability and availability. To ensure availability is maintained, it is important that manufacturer’s recommendations for inspections and servicing are undertaken on key infrastructure components, including air-conditioning, UPS systems, generators and fire suppression systems. Planned Preventative Maintenance contracts are particularly effective at identifying any undetected, but potentially service affecting malfunctions that may lead to more serious long-term problems.

Workspace Technology will tailor a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) service contract to suit engineering and system components within any new or existing data centre facility.

An appropriately implemented PPM contract will increase the availability of a data centre or commercial building facility and improve the Mean Time to Repair, should something go wrong.

Annual Data Centre Audit Report

As a value added addition to any PPM contract, Workspace Technology offer an annual Data Centre NCPI engineering report service which delivers independent assessments of all key Data Centre architecture components, namely Construction, Protection, Engineering, Technical, Monitoring and also reviews Service arrangements.

The Annual NCPI Report delivers ongoing evaluation and recommendations which help fine tune the Network Critical Physical Infrastructure to support the ever present network and server equipment refresh programmes.

A combination of design and planned preventative maintenance helps move system reliability and availability to the ideal figure of 99.999%. However in the real world where system failures are a reality, Workspace Technology recommend and can deploy traditional onsite break fix support contracts. As standard we offer 24x7x365 help desk support for all core system components.

Comprehensive Provides full service including call-out charges and equipment replacement both in and out of warranty** ***.
